The trolley that is running away is careering down the railway tracks. The tracks contain five people unable to move. They are next to the lever. The trolley is able to change tracks when you push the lever. In the meantime, you will see that there’s an individual in the other track.
Five people get killed while you watch the scene unfold. Choose to pull the lever. Only one individual is killed. It is not because of the lever you pull.
